A message from CEO, Tara Barney

E-REP IS THANKFUL FOR YOU

And just like that the holiday season is here — again. Every year I find the time to ponder on gratitude. Good health, shelter, family and friends are on the list, you bet. As are you; the businesses and organizations that are the heartbeat of our region’s economy top my list. Thank you. Thanks for taking risks, being creative, juggling personnel shortages, supply chain chaos, public health challenges and all else. E-REP is by your side working to grow our workforce, support business growth in every possible way, and make this a region of first choice for all.

One way for us to learn more about your business, how we can be a stronger partner, and what’s important to you as Indiana begins this legislative session is through our member survey. Please take a few minutes to give us feedback and share your priorities. Use the QR code on this page to take the survey.

Last month, Avangard Innovative chose the Evansville Region for a new $100 million state-of-the-art manufacturing recycling facility. This newly constructed 500,000-square-foot operation will open in 2024 on Highway 62 between USI and Mt. Vernon. Two months ago, DSM completed a $60 million expansion and update of its manufacturing process in Evansville. And in Princeton, a new YMCA, a modern workforce housing complex and The District were launched. More initiatives that are contributing to our region’s energy are coming soon. We are on the move!

When you make your holiday plans, when you are “contributing” to our economy by shopping for gifts, choosing services, or gathering with your team, family and friends, choose your fellow member businesses first. Make a choice to enjoy our region’s downtowns and quaint commercial districts. Shop local is more than a catch phrase, it’s what each of us can do to strengthen our region, manage against the economic headwinds and help make the Evansville Region a nationally recognized place to call home.
