E-REP BR&E Visit with AstraZeneca

We had a great visit this week with the team at AstraZeneca’s Mount Vernon facility as part of our Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) program.

AstraZeneca is an important employer in the Evansville Region, providing employment for more than 800 people locally, producing over 6 billion tablets and packaging over 50 million units each year that are distributed to patients in more than 60 countries around the world.

Thank you to Femi D-Etti, Holly Sanders, Jessica Zirkelbach, and Cindy Staples for hosting our group and sharing updates on the continued growth and investments happening at the site.

Attendees included representatives from the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), Southwest Indiana Workforce Board, CenterPoint Energy, and Posey County, including Lloyd Winnecke, Josh Armstrong, Pat Hickey, Kaylie Pruiett, Andrea Lendy, Valerie Schmidt, Jeremy Durbin, Jessica Wildeman, and Commissioner Eric Koester.

We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the work happening at AstraZeneca and look forward to continuing to support their success in the Evansville Region.
