E-REP Conducts BR&E Visit with Fehrenbacher Cabinets

On February 18, 2026, the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP) conducted a Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) visit with Fehrenbacher Cabinets in Vanderburgh County.

We met with Patrick Fehrenbacher, third-generation owner, alongside regional partners including Andrea (Indiana Economic Development Corporation), Valerie Schmidt (Southwest Indiana Workforce Board), Commissioner Elpers (Vanderburgh County), Dominic Poggi (SBDC), and Jeremy Durbin (CenterPoint Energy).

Founded in 1957, Fehrenbacher Cabinets is a third-generation, family-owned custom cabinetry manufacturer serving residential and commercial markets. The company specializes in fully custom cabinetry, countertops, and premium appliance distribution. Known for its strong workplace culture and historically low turnover, Fehrenbacher has built a stable, experienced team committed to quality craftsmanship.

The company continues to invest in its operations, including implementation of an automated flat-line spray finishing system supported by a Manufacturing Readiness Grant (MRG), helping enhance efficiency while maintaining its high standards.

The purpose of the BR&E visit was to proactively engage with leadership, discuss current operations and future goals, and identify opportunities where regional partners can provide support as the company continues to grow and invest locally.
