American Industrial Group AIG/MMT Announces Expansion in Posey County – Adding New High-Wage Manufacturing Jobs for Hoosiers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mount Vernon, IN (December 16, 2025) –American Industrial Group LLC (AIG), the parent company of leading industrial service providers Material Management Technologies (MMT) and American Processing Services (APS), is proud to announce its plans for expansion in Posey County, Indiana.

As part of this expansion, AIG will invest approximately $1.25 million and create 11 new full-time skilled manufacturing positions in Indiana by 2028, with an average hourly wage of $42.00. Additionally, AIG will retain its current base of 30 full-time Indiana employees, earning an average wage of $37.00 per hour.

“We’re excited to continue growing in Posey County and grateful for the support from the state and the local community,” said Chris Joyce, Co-Owner of American Industrial Group. “This expansion represents more than just growth—it’s a commitment to building high-quality jobs, strengthening our operations, and continuing to invest in Indiana’s industrial future.”

The upcoming expansion supports AIG’s broader mission of streamlining operations and delivering high-impact industrial solutions through its subsidiaries, including MMT’s just-in-time materials kitting and APS’s processing capabilities. Support provided by the state was a major factor in AIG’s decision to move forward with the project in Indiana.

“AIG’s commitment to growth is a testament to the strength and impact of Indiana’s small business ecosystem,” said Indiana Governor Mike Braun. “The company’s investment will not only sustain and create new, high-wage manufacturing career opportunities for Hoosiers, but it will expand and modernize AIG’s operations, ensuring the company’s presence and impact on the region and the state for years to come.”

Based on the company’s job creation plans, the IEDC committed an investment in AIG of up to $175,000 in the form of incentive-based tax credits. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.
