EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Evansville-based Separation by Design (SBD) is expanding its footprint with a $5 million investment that will more than double its facility size and create up to 25 new jobs in the region.
Fueled by growing demand for its products and services, the company is adding 90,000 square feet to its existing 56,000-square-foot facility on Buchanan Road. The expansion supports both SBD and its subsidiary, KleerBlue Solutions, as they continue to grow in the oil, gas, and renewable fuels markets.
“SBD has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the construction of turnkey bulk oil, biofuel, and DEF facilities,” said CEO Roy Jorgensen. “That trust has fueled our rapid growth in recent years. We’re committed to scaling our operations in a way that keeps us ahead of demand, so we can continue delivering the reliability and performance our customers expect.”
With 35 current employees, the company provides custom-engineered systems including above-ground blending, storage, and dispensing units; oil/water separators; and diesel exhaust fueling solutions. The expansion solidifies Separation by Design’s long-term commitment to Evansville and positions the company to better serve its growing customer base across multiple energy sectors.
A timeline for construction completion has not yet been announced.
