Orr Fellowship Opens Applications for 2027 Cohort of Fellows

Premier Indiana post-undergraduate experience to provide career opportunities, community, networking and professional development to more than 100 upcoming graduates

Orr Fellowship, Indiana’s premier early-career development program, is now accepting applications for its 2027 cohort in Evansville and Indianapolis. Across its two chapters, the program expects to provide full-time career opportunities, professional development and a built-in support network to more than 100 upcoming college graduates.

Founded in 2001, Orr Fellowship expanded to Southwest Indiana in 2024. Now in its third year in Evansville, the chapter has 46 Orr Fellows and 24 partner companies. The program recruits, assesses and matches versatile high-achievers with full-time, high-agency roles at growing Indiana businesses, including Evansville-based opportunities with organizations such as Old National Bank.

Through immersive professional experiences, mentorship and leadership opportunities, Orr Fellowship strengthens Southwest Indiana’s workforce pipeline while attracting emerging talent to the state. In fact, one in four members of its most recent graduating class came from outside Indiana.

In addition to full-time employment, Fellows receive formal leadership training, networking and community-building opportunities, as well as an expedited pathway into the Kelley Evening MBA and Butler University MBA programs. Qualified applicants must:

  • Be on track to graduate in August 2026, December 2026 or May 2027.
  • Earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
  • Commit to living in Indianapolis or Evansville for the two-year Fellowship.

Applications are now open and due by Sept. 25, 2026. Interested students can apply here.
