Our Business Retention & Expansion team recently had the opportunity to visit Harrell-Fish (HFI) and learn more about the impressive growth happening within the company and right here in the Evansville Region.
Headquartered in Bloomington, HFI also has offices in Evansville, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne, and provides mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, piping, building automation and controls, service and maintenance, virtual construction/BIM, fabrication, and more across the industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, commercial, and institutional sectors.
And they’re growing quickly! HFI has grown from approximately 400 employees companywide in 2023 to nearly 800 today, including approximately 110–120 employees in its Evansville operation.
What stood out just as much as HFI’s growth was its focus on its people. HFI has been recognized as one of Indiana’s Best Places to Work for three consecutive years, ranking among the top five each year. The company places a strong emphasis on employee training, leadership development, engagement, safety, and giving back to the communities it serves.
Thank you to Addison DeLong, Director of Executive Operations, and Seth Euler, Evansville Vice President, for hosting us and sharing more about HFI’s operations, workforce needs, company culture, and plans for continued growth.
Joining the visit were Kaylie Pruiett, Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP); Andrea Lendy, Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC); Valerie Schmidt, Southwest Indiana Workforce Board; and Jeremy Durbin, CenterPoint Energy.
We’re excited to see HFI continue to grow and invest in the Evansville Region!
