Our Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) team recently visited The SIGMA Group, a family- and employee-owned company proudly headquartered in Evansville. This visit is part of E-REP’s ongoing BR&E efforts to stay connected with local businesses, identify opportunities for support, and strengthen our region’s economic future.
Founded in 2003, SIGMA has grown into a global leader in the packaging and processing industries, operating from a 660,000 sq. ft. campus right here in the Evansville Region. With six distinct divisions – including equipment sales, systems integration, asset recovery, surplus parts, auctions, and electronics recycling – SIGMA is a dynamic employer with 133 team members and a strong commitment to workforce development. Its in-house training programs and focus on technical talent are helping build a stronger pipeline for manufacturing careers in our region.
SIGMA manages its own logistics and reaches markets across North America and Europe, moving nearly 80 trucks per week. The company is also deeply engaged in the community and passionate about increasing awareness of its global impact from its local roots.
