Our team had the opportunity to visit King Mechanical Specialty in Newburgh this morning as part of our Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) program.
Founded in 1965, King Mechanical Specialty has deep roots in the Newburgh community and has quietly built a reputation as a trusted supplier of industrial valves, gauges, actuators, and instrumentation. With a small but highly experienced team, the company serves customers across the United States and internationally while continuing to operate from its long-standing Newburgh location.
During our visit, owner Michael King shared the company’s story and the culture that has helped sustain the business for more than 60 years. With many long-tenured employees and a strong focus on taking care of the team, King Mechanical Specialty reflects the kind of locally rooted company that plays an important role in the strength of our regional economy.
We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this unique Newburgh business and look forward to continuing to support their success.
Thank you to everyone who joined the visit:
• Kaylie Pruiett – Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP)
• Andrea Lendy – Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC)
• Steve Roelle – Warrick Success
• Grant Blackman – Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
• Michael King – Owner, King Mechanical Specialty
Through BR&E visits like this, we continue connecting with regional businesses to learn about their work, celebrate their impact, and ensure they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
