Southwest Indiana SBDC Brings Home Multiple Statewide Awards

The Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has a lot to celebrate following last week’s 2024 Indiana SBDC State Conference in Indianapolis. The team proudly brought home several top honors, recognizing the outstanding work being done to support entrepreneurs and small businesses across the region.

Top Statewide Honors Received by the Southwest Indiana SBDC:
  • Center of the Year – the highest distinction an SBDC can receive, recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration
  • Highest Performing Center – for the strongest overall performance metrics across the state
  • Educator of the Year – for hosting trainings with over 900 participants across both in-person and virtual formats
  • Stellar Service – awarded in a three-way tie for receiving the best client feedback across all regional centers
Individual Team Awards:
  • Catherine King (Office Manager)Rising Star for excellence and growth across multiple focus areas
  • Julie Folz (Business Advisor)Most Clients Counseled (Part-Time) with 181 entrepreneurs supported
  • Grant Glackman (Business Advisor)$1 Million Club for helping clients access over $1M in capital infusion

These awards reflect the passion and tireless dedication of the team to fuel business success and economic vitality across Southwest Indiana.

Hosted by the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), the Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) helps businesses start, grow, finance, innovate and transition through no-cost, confidential business advising and low-cost training.
