TaylorMade Chooses Evansville
Evansville, Ind. (November 14, 2017) – Warehouse Services Inc. (WSI), a global third-party logistics provider, announced plans today to expand operations in Evansville to accommodate a centralized distribution center for TaylorMade Golf Company, creating 52 new jobs by 2019.

I am thrilled company leaders selected Evansville as the best place to continue growing the business,” said Mayor Lloyd Winnecke. “With the expansion of Warehouse Services’ operations in Evansville, TaylorMade will be more strategically located to its customer base, which will be more efficient and cost effective.”
The Mt. Vernon-based business will invest $8 million to add 200,000 square-feet to its existing 110,000-square-foot facility at 4400 Garrison Ave. in Evansville, allowing TaylorMade Golf to consolidate their North American distribution operations in a more centrally located site for easier, more economical access to their customers.

Warehouse Services Inc. continues to grow each year through new client development, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities with existing customers. The company operates 77 facilities throughout 19 states in North America and currently employs more than 500 associates in the region and 2,500 internationally.

At the request of the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville (GAGE), Evansville City Council granted an incentive package including 6-year tax phase-in on both real and personal property to Warehouse Services Inc. for the company’s investment of over $8 million dollars, addition of 52 new full-time employees and 114 flex employees.
