Shine On Car Wash rebrands to Finish Line Car Wash, holds grand reopening event

Finish Line Car Wash, formerly Shine On Car Wash, Evansville’s popular express tunnel car wash, will hold a ribbon-cutting event at two locations to celebrate its reopening under the Finish Line brand.

In addition to the ribbon-cutting, the event will include live remote broadcasting by local radio stations, food by Pappa Bears Catering food truck, and promotional pricing and perks for new Unlimited Wash Club members. The event will be live-streamed on the Finish Line Car Wash Facebook page, facebook.com/flcarwash.

“We are incredibly excited to have the Shine On brand join the Finish Line brand,” said Jamey Buck, Midwest Vice President of Operations at Finish Line’s parent company, Mammoth Holdings. “This has expanded our footprint into four states, giving more options to our customers in the Midwest. This also leverages the ability to bolt on more locations in the current markets with either ground-up or by acquisitions. We hope our customers enjoy the features and benefits of the Finish Line membership program.”

“Finish Line Car Wash is all about clean, fast and fun,” said Chase Cursey, district manager of the Evansville Finish Line Car Wash locations. “We are poised in Evansville to provide a consistent clean vehicle in a timely manner and create experiences for members where they want to be a part of what we are doing here.”

Cursey wants the public to know that the Unlimited Wash Club membership is Finish Line’s most popular service among customers, as a subscription service that allows customers to wash a vehicle as many times as they’d like, as often as they’d like, for a monthly membership fee.

He said Finish Line’s influence in the Evansville market has expanded gradually over time, with new signage and colors representing the final steps in the transition.

He added that Finish Line Car Wash is always hiring. Interested applicants may view all open positions at www.mammoth.careers.

The ribbon-cutting will be a two-part event, held at 1 p.m. at the West Evansville Finish Line Car Wash, 4600 University Drive; and at 2 p.m. at the East Evansville Finish Line Car Wash, 1838 Hirschland Road, on Friday, March 18.

Finish Line Car Wash, owned by Atlanta-based Mammoth Holdings LLC, operates 10 locations in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, and Indiana, all of which are available for use by its members. Mammoth Holdings is the nation’s seventh-largest conveyor car wash operator.
